Stay Physically Active – Exercise Regularly – Research indicates exercise helps maintain memory and improve mood at any age. Activity increases the brain’s blood supply, preserves white matter integrity and stimulates neurotrophic compounds that support neuron growth and function. Aim for 30 minutes daily of walking, dancing, biking, swimming or any type of exercise that keeps you moving!
