Reduce your vascular risk factors! Keep your cholesterol, blood pressure and weight at healthy levels. Control stress to keep your brain well fed and oxygenated by a strong circulatory system. A well balanced diet low in salt, rich in vegetables and fruit, moderate consumption of healthy fats and carbohydrates promotes brain health and reduces risk of brain disabling disease such as stroke and diabetes. Talk to your provider about improving your brain heath.
