GREAT AMERICAN SMOKEOUT DAY 11/21/2019

The National Black Nursing Association theme this year is "NBNA Against Smoking and Vaping." 

According to the NJ Department of Health (NJDOH) the first NJ death associated with national vaping outbreak was reported in August this year.

NJ Governor, Phil Murphy, announced the creation of the Electronic Smoking Device  Task Force on September 12, 2019. (Recommendations issued pursuant to Executive Order No. 84)

The total number of confirmed and probable cases of lung disease in the state has risen to 14.

Nationally, there are more than 800 confirmed and probable cases of severe lung illnesses in 46 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. There have been approximately 13 deaths in 12 states.
